The UE go's ape and tries to finish what they started, and exterminate the Amoeba.

The Amoeba isn't having any of it, and meets the fleet half way, catching the UE out of formation, leading to a huge battle.

It's possible that either side could call upon the Republic and Sheredyn to the battle, but I do have an Idea to make this war go full on crazy.

The Amoeba, Masters of Intrigue

Years after the heroic battle at Antega that saved the Amoeba from certain destruction it became apparent that the UE wouldn't let this go lying down, and intelligence reports from the Republic shed light on the gathering of 3 fleets preparing to once again invade Amoeba space, and annihilate them once and for all.

By now the Amoeba had finished construction of 2 additional fleets to support 'The Gandhi Initiative', 'The Microscopic Revolution' and 'The Guardians of Antega', but even they and the support of the Amoeba flagship the 'Chattering Ape' had little chance at stopping 3 fully prepared war fleets of the Empire, Warfare wasn't their specialty and tenacity can only get you so far, but there was one trick they did have, political intrigue.

With that in mind, they invited the Hissho ambassador and a couple of escorting destroyers to inspect one of their latest cruisers built in the system of Rakkus, right in between the Amoeba home worlds, and the United Empire's fleets...

Haha, you sly devil!

And there was some talk about some internal conflict or something that was stopping them from conquering UE or the Amoeba. Not quite sure what that was about, I think I got the impression that they have their own version of the UUR in them (I say I think I got the impression because I posted it)

Maybe, but that might be a little too similar to the actual rebellion between the UUR and UE.

And this blatant, totally arranged, and unjustified assassination of a loyal, homegrown and loyal loyalist Hissho diplomat who was totally loyal might act as a rallying cry for a mighty Waaagh.....I mean crusade against the wicked, loyalist killing UE.

The Cravers are either:

1: Always at this, so business as usual.

2: Are taking a break to build more fleets, develop systems, kill pirates, and check themselves before they wreck themselves.

If there is a juicer target, they will go for it, no matter who that is, otherwise they are quite content to fight each other until the end of time.

So any sign of weakness from the Sophon, Hissho and the Republic-Amoeba border (That they know about) might be reason enough to draw them in for the sake of the hive.

All of the Craver factions?

yeah, although their not stupid enough to do it in a way that would allow their own destruction.

But sooner or later the Cravers are going to get involved in the main war, and not everyone is going come out unscathed.

So they ARE the Orkz, good comparison then smiley: biggrin Always got to love classic series. Sadly this forum thread/wiki is only about the UUR and UE war. If we finish it, we could start writing more about the other races, maybe go beyond the thousand years to see how the galaxy has changed.

So confused: Big fleet at Amoeba homeworlds, or small because they underestimated them?

Before or after the Amoeba's re took it?

Before: I'd say medium sized, as half the fleet was in nearby systems, bombing Amoeba worlds, and the rest was here, reequipping, resting, repairing and protecting their new colony.

After: large Amoeba fleet that won the battle, occasionally jumping away to hunt down Empire ships, and protect other colony's.

Not the entire fleet, but enough ships not to be taken lightly.

Can you tell me the diplomatic status at the moment? Who is allied with whom? who is in war with whom? Who has got peace and who has got a cold war with whom?

I would love to create a diplomatics grafic. Not as good as in the game but Ok.

OH MY GOD IGNCOM! I SCREWED UP!

Ben_Hyna: The Pilgrims, Sophons, and Amoeba are all allied with the UUR. The UE is alone but has paid for some services by the Horatio. The Hissho have no interest in human problems, and the Cravers are too occupied. The Sowers and Automatons are just doing their thing right now. Horatio is (by my guess) being assaulted by the UE because they have a lot of territory inside the UE empire.

I was making a page to for the defense of the Amoeba homeworlds, but I thought that since Antega was the homeworld, thats what would need defending, but then that COMPLETELY CONTRADICTS YOUR PAGE. I forgot that it was lost and the giant Amoeba fleet went and captured it. =((((((((((((((((((((((((
