Played a lot on the Lucy open dev but there is not play or download link for me on steam to download the Victor open dev. Is anyone else having this problem?

It was announced just minutes ago.
It is possible it is delayed a bit :)
Lets just be a bit patient.

Same for me.  It just shows "coming 17 Aug, 2021" and hasn't been renamed to "Victor".  I tried going to the steam page for victor to click 'play now' (per the announcement) but there is no "play now" button.

same. played lucy. preordered humankind. no link in steam and no reward here at game2gether.

Same here. If I go to "Humankind - Victor OpenDev" in my Steam Library instead of the "Play" button there is a "Purchase" button (even though I obviously have purchased the game and played Lucy OpenDev).

Just got it. :D
Hope others gets theirs too :D

I had re-linked the Steam account a few minutes ago and it wasn't changing anything, but I re-linked a second time and now it's working.

Tried that out but nothing on my end. Hoping it's just a roll out delay.

have you checked rewards?  I had to redeem it to get it.

It's not. Everyone is trying to redeem it at the moment and the servers can handle only so much traffic at one time. Keep trying and you will eventually get it. It will show up in the rewards section once your account is synced and you will get a message on their website saying you are in and have a button to redeem it on steam.

It's a synchronization problem between Games2gether and Steam, correctly you have to resynch, wait some minutes, get back on Home Humankind and Redeem Victo Opendev. That should link to Steam again and you shoudl get teh "update" instead of "purchase"

At least you get that. Let's me review and nothing else.... Not on my games library and I don't have a redeemable for it on Games2gether. Like I never played Lucy though I played it religiously for a week lol.

I played the lucy opendev, synced my account to steam, but no new rewards. went to try to install in steam, only showed "Add to wishlist" option. removed from game library to try to reinstall, no option to reinstall. Please help. 

I was able to play the opendev on a relatively fast computer, at least, download it, because it crashed twice, and on the third try it nearly broke the thing. Is anyone else having issues with the opendev? I am not even able to play the game, trying to load it every time was slightly entertaining though.

yea but i deleted the lucy opendev thinking i could redownload it 

now i can neither get it from the g2g rewards page nor the steam store page :(

I don't think the devs were quite ready for the opendev? I downloaded it, but my computer is making demonic sounds, I am a bit worried (Also it crashed so many times I swear).

I also deleted Lucy, probably even removed it from my account. It worked for me after following the steps I outlined above your post. Currently downloading Victor.

Nope still nothing after reloading and relogging in and resyncing. 

I had my Lucy open dev key revoked! Idk why but that seems to be my issue.

Yea I think it has happened to alot of peeps from the looks of it in the twitch chat. I hope they figure it out soon. I also put a support ticket in on steam to see if they will help.

I hope the developers will fix the problem soon, i only have the option to purchase the victor open dev and put it on my wishlist.

Yeah, I can't access it either - I've synced my account, but have no idea what to do past that. I removed the previous OpenDev a week or two after the time period expired, and now I can't see it in the library at all. Steam clearly remembers that I've played it though, because it will allow me to leave a review.

I was in the same case, got the Lucy OpenDev from Twitch drop in December, key revoked at the end.

I watched a stream to get the 3h OpenDev Twitch drop, it worked and I can now download the Victor OpenDev. Watching 3 hours stream is probably quicker than waiting for a fix, especially if we first got the Lucy the same way.

Yep. Just got it from the Twitch drop as well and everything seems to be working now. Annoying journey but at least this worked and I can finally play now.
