Hello all, having a blast in the Victor OpenDev. But for some reason I can't find where the region names are displayed. I just won my first war, and I want to make sure I get the regions I want out of the victory. But where are the region names displayed?

Thanks for the help!

Yep, found this troublesome as well. I had also hoped the region names would be renerated or reassigned from the culture name lists, so they don't sound off to the empire they're a part of.

Yes I found that confusing as well, either it should use the name of the city, or display the region name somewhere on the map, after looking for what felt like an eternity to see if I can find the region name somewhere, I decided save scumming is the only option right now

If you click on the outpost there will be the region name, but if not outpost rather city, I didn't find it too :S

Agreed here.

War resolution is a pain. Sometimes the outpost has the same name as in the war resolution screen. But it seems the cities don't.

Also sometimes it won't let you take a city (outpost?), but the popup says because this empire won't exist anymore even though it's only 1 city out of multiple ones.

There's no magnifying glass to take you to the region like in every other case.

So a bit confused on diplomacy still.

I wonder if it would be possible to do war resolution graphically instead of as a list. Like have the visual be a world map with the regions on it. So you would click the regions you want to force them to give up on a map rather than select them from a list.

This is how Paradox (EU IV, CK3, etc) does it. Very handy. I think a lot of diplomacy lessons can be taken from their games.

Yeah, there is currently no way to see region names if they aren't yours, meaning you have to play a guessing game on the surrender screen. It was a bit easier in Lucy where it said the city's name and whether or not it was an attached territory to the city or just an outpost. A simple magnifying glass next to the name that centered the screen on the territory would do wonders.

Yeah, this is really really awkward and weird. The game will say something like 'Kang is falling under the cultural influence of the Olmecs' or whatever, but there is no way to tell which province Kang is.

Yeah this is super akward and not very logical from a history perspective usually you would give away border territory but just because the outpost is just out of vision its a guessing game. A territory outline in the fog of war could fix this without spoiling the location of the outpost.

There is a hourglass icon that goes somewhere to the outpost and trough the diplomacy screen the names are visible, i could find the region which is nice but its not pretty or obvious yet.

+1 for fixing this. Kind of annoying having to either guess or find the name in awkward menus.
