Steam has now busted on me, it wont pause downloads and uninstall without crashing, when it spend enough time and it "uninstalls" it sits at 4gbs when i try to install fresh. Ive wiped files and restarted ive cleared caches.

What did you do to my computer. None of this was happening till i tried to update humankind today after preloading yesterday. Pretty unsatisfied and hacked off customer and fan here. I've been waiting to play this since it was announced to release on my birthday originally till you kicked it back for release and left it on stadia (pukes)

You've ruined my morning and afternoon schedule by making me spend extra hours in my schedule to figure out what your files and programs are doing when i could've played a nice game to explore what you've made. So apologies for my foul mood.

Before saying it is because of the game, you must know that it's an old Steam bug that reappear for no reason sometimes

It can also be because the server is overcrowded, and makes Steam crash as it doesn't really like being interrupted in the middle of something, cloud saves can randomly freeze Steam and it's not uncommon for exemple

So, like always and the dumb things to say, is your Steam up to date ? Drivers ?
