I am in industrial era with the French, and I have the message "missing the technology to embark troops" (while I have been using it a lot for the past few eras). I just left the Venetian civ who has the Fluyt special troop replacement (replace the troops' vessels in water with a better one) and I wonder if this isn't a bug as in "you're not Venetian anymore so you don't have access to your cargo ship". Anyone seen the same ?

Seems like this is a bug.

I get a similar issue when assimilating an independent people. After assimilation, you get their units as well however they don't have the capability to embark (even if I have the technology and by own produced units can).

Actually this may be the issue, as the stack I was trying to embark was from an independent city I just acquired. I know the hard save I made got corrupted somehow and can't load, I should check if I still have an autoS.
