So this has been bugging me greatly...

Several times now an alliance member of mine is attacked, or goes into a war, and I can't join... I then get a Grievance for being at peace with the enemy, with still no way to actually enter the war...

Assuming I'm not missing anything (which I'm sure I am).

I think the threshold for the requirement to go to war with someone you're on relatively good terms with should be lowered, if your ally decides to go to war.

(I still don't think it should be possible in some cases of course, but it shouldn't require 100 warscore support)

I would imagine you just give in to the demand? I know I pressured an AI into doing this for me while I was in an alliance.

Barring that... Just declare war on the person they want if something for some reason borked? I imagine giving in to the demand just streamlines it.

There is no way to give in to the demand. The option isn't there. It simply says "Declare war on <empire>" As what they want me to do.

I haven't got the same scenario in this release version, but it should work the same:

After getting a grievance, demand your enemy to make peace with your ally, if they reject than you can declare war. IIRC it doesn't need 100 war support to declare this war.

Thank you! This does seem to be a work around.. and I want to call it a workaround because it honestly seems like jumping through illogical hoops. But it could be me.
