First of all, this game is indeed very unfriendly to any kind of warmongers, this is a good thing, of course, HUMANKIND is not going to be all barbarians.

But, well, IM going to talk about the resource limits.

While I want to build cities and Infrastructure, my neighbour did not. The wrong thing is that: there is only 1 single horse over 12 provinces.

As they choose that bullshit Huns. And nothing can compare to Hunnic hordes before Era III have the capable strength and movement, besides horseman. But hey I can not build that and have nowhere to buy it except the Huns.

Thus, still, a war could last an entire Era and draining every pop.

Well, the battle sys is good so it is still fine for me. But hey, is things supposed to be like this in the first place?

Honestly, although it is fine, I really do not think this is supposed normal, to have each turn running a battle with 9~12 units.

I've seen other posts complaining about a dire lack of strategic resources, especially in the later game. There doesn't yet seem to be a world generation option for increasing the resource quantity/concentration, so right now the best bet looks like start again and pray to RNGesus or tough it out by relying on terrain bonuses and garrisons

Yeah, I also see there are no other ways.

The thing is, could we have some means to access more resources via an unusual and expensive way, something only for dire situations, and no AI would consider it ordinary.

Something like, if I have 1 iron, I can have an expensive improvement built on it to increase its value to 2, probably this needs to be as expensive as a festival.

Or something like the market in ES2? But can't be that cheap and easy, and this seems only possible until the late game.
