Hello !

I wonder if it's a bug or I don't understand the penalties that can occur in the endgame but I have a huge debt at the endgame all the time. 

In fact, until halfway through the last era, my economic situation is fine, I usually have a small army that costs me less than 1000 coins per turn and I'm starting to see some pollution appear. 

But suddenly, almost from one turn to the next, my army starts costing more than 70k per turn!!! I didn't do anything special to my army to make it cost that much, or at least not that I know of. 

So this puts me in a financial situation that is impossible to make up for even if I made 15 or 20k per turn just before. 

Is this a game bug or is there something towards the last few turns that is extremely expensive that I didn't see coming?

I had the same problem! It is definitely a bug, but firing an airplane worked for me ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
