They just didn't finish the AI customization passed the aesthetic part I guess.

Opponents with archetypes, biases and strengths are much stronger, especially when they choose abilities that compliment each other.

Strengths are always positives for an avatar and can range from bonuses like extra food, industry, money or science on districts, extra unit movement or combat strength and lots more.

Biases affect how your AI will play in game. Making it focus on military offensively or defensively, focus on making money, or being naval focused (and again many other areas)

Archetypes change how your avatar interacts with the human and other AI. Like a more aggressive, passive and other personality choices

So you can try to make a combo of the three, like combat bonus Strength + militarily focuses Bias + aggressive and stubborn Personality to pick fights. This avatar is much more focused and likely more difficult to verse.

@Melliores Another example is compare our two avatars. We're using the same strengths (both science boosting strengths) but our biases and archetypes are almost opposites. So his persona is likely more friendly than mine in game. (I'll be putting him in my next game. Test out our differences there)
