The Wiki is useless, as it doesn't say how many aircraft it can carry.

for that matter, I can't for the life of me figure out how to just put a plane on the aircraft carrier ("restation") etc... no button seems visable on the plane or the carrier.

To the initial post: I've also found that you can't move a plane to a carrier that already has one or more planes on it. I think it's a bug, and not because of some limit, because I had to shuffle planes around and eventually got all of them onto the carrier.

In my current game I have inconsistent behaviour. Sometimes I can add planes to a carrier, sometimes I can't. Also had a problem trying to move I think 5 planes from one airfield to another one that already had 4 planes on it. Couldn't be done - now that I think of it, probably because of the unit cap of 8 at the time. But then I tried moving just 1 plane out of the 5 and that was a disaster because that plane moved, but the existing 4 already on the airfield disappeared. Fortunately I was so far ahead that this didn't make much difference. Clearly there's a problem with the plane movements.
