Auto-exploring units have an anomaly radar, which is very useful in the Paleotlithic.

You press it, and it goes straight to the anomalies.

Handy, isn't it? No need to take chances anymore.

This is not a good thing. I humbly ask the authorities of Amplitude, to remove this kind of bug exploit.

Many have pointed this out by now. I'd say this is easy to "work around" as players atm by simply not using it, especially if you play multiplayer.

Quite a few strategic games with fog of war, from my past experiences, tend to have this problem with a.i. Advance wars used to be the most frustrating game with A.I omnipotence, but in the later games the team for that game were able to make a workeround that prevented the a.i from ever attacking with their unit that discovers your unit through fog of war. Of course, that didn’t really fix the issue of the a.i always seeing everything on the map.

If the devs could let this auto-explore for A.I, but create an auto explore with no anomaly radar for humans, it would be the solution I think.

Yes, but to be honest, without this "cheat", you will always (let's say 80% of the time) be the last civilization to leave the first era. I usually use auto explore on the first unit, and manual exploring as soon as i get the second one. Then, it depends. I will always keep one or two units to settle two outposts, and any other units will keep auto exploring to get the necessary culture.

This is wildly overstated. I don't use the cheat and am still first a fair number of the time, almost never later than 3rd or 4th.

It's funny that PartyElite advertises this thing as a feature you should use :D

But why not anyway? Devs may have had two choices: either implement a real exploration algorithm and let the AI fall behind easily (and let people complain about the poor AI scouting) or allow them to look for curiosities in the most optimal way possible and give that tool in the hands of players, too (and let people claim about the cheating AI).

No...that would just let the AI continue to cheat.  Fix the AI so it's not cheating is the proper solution.  Making it not usable to humans is a band-aid at best.
