Do the bonus for completing Public Ceremonies expire overtime or do they last indefinitely?

So far it don't seem to have an expiry but I just wanted to confirm that was the case.

I'm also confused about the Parade Bonus. It gives a +5 Experience for Creating Units, which from my maths shouldn't upgrade the unit I created since at should have had at least 34 pts from to the next Veterancy. But when it was created it was Level 1 (i.e 1 star).

Since the game doesn't have a way to tell what experience bonus a city has when it creates I can't tell if this a bug or my maths is missing another variable. I didn't have Armory on the City, so I not sure what else it could have been.

My Game settings are on Blitz on Metropolis and the unit I built was a Teutonic Knight
