I feel I don't know anything about the game and how I play it is like a mess, somehow I manage to tend the game with like 30k or even 40k fame, so I guess I do well, but how would you do to understand the game itself?

I'm learning every time I play but I have one clue for you: look at the stars. Getting stars is the secret to promoting to the next era. Check out the information in the upper left corner of the game UI where the stars are. The next screen lays out what you can do to move forward. This is not Civilization or any other game like it so it needs a fresh eye on what to do next.

I know about the stars, I have gotten 45k fame. I more feel like the stuff such as city building, district placement, later game warfare and things like that I don't know much about yet.

some youtuber explain their thought process well and you can understand the game a lot from watching them play.

My favourite so far has been SB as he explains his though process in great detail and he is entertaining to watch.

Honestly, more than half of my questions have been answered by tooltips in-game. Take the time to mouse over e v e r y t h i n g.

The Amplitude Discord usually has discussion with strategy and tactics about the game and anyone can ask and learn from there. It is said there is a user named Goodluck that is probably quite decent at it and had some pretty high fame scores under their belt.
