Did Outpost costs change with patch?

I thought it was 20 influence for outpost next to city. Now it seemed to be 61. Or is is something specific to my civ? Harappans -- I don't see anything).


Is the outpost cost formula explained somewhere?


Edit: Ok, with a different civ I see 20 again. Is there something about Harappans that makes outposts more expensive? Or some other variable I'm missing?

Ahh, interesting. Thanks. 20->61 is a huge jump. Seems extreme when only controlling 1 territory.

It's a pretty big change... Natural Right and Customary Laws were my preferred civic choices before, but now they feel mandatory

Might be overtuned similarly to how spending gold to instant build is very steep too imo. I don't know why I have to spend 8k to buy a unit that I can make in one turn lol.


On flip side I can agree it cost too little before and I much rather it be too high vs too low while devs figure out a happy medium.
