sorry for my ignorance, but if i start a game with the BETA, will i need to start over when it officially comes out or can i continue  my current game?

I am talking about the patch by the way....sorry for any confusion.

I have not had problems starting up various saves of games played in different versions.

I havent played in a week waiting for the beta to drop to a real patch thinking i would have to start over again once it went live.

If you are referring to the current beta you shouldn't have any problems when switching to the "normal" patch as there are minor fixes from the beta to the current main patch.

But in general it is better to finish your game on the version you started it whenever possible, to avoid any problem with it.

Thanks, and yes I am waiting for the big patch thats in beta right now.  I have been holding off starting a new game waiting for it to go live.  Should I still wait or go for it while in beta?

I switched from main to beta to get access to some bug fixes then finished out my game. I wouldn't advise trying to do the reverse, since it's unlikely that going backwards in time is tested.
