I mean something like the buyout formula which is not mentioned anywhere in the game. I know you wanted to keep civic unlock condition a secret to some degree and I could assume that you want to do that with certain game mechanics such as how the buyout cost is calculated.

If something isn’t mentioned in the game/encyclopedia it is only because the devs/designers/programmers etc are too busy to put everything in.

And how are you sure about that?

They never mentioned anything about the formulas being a “narrative experience” ie something where there should be “spoilers”.  They specifically mentioned it about the events/civics triggers.

Knock yourself our publishing any formula you figure out. These aren't under any kind of NDA or anything. Technically, anybody can try to reverse-engineer them from values they see in game, anyway.

And if you figure out a specific trigger for a narrative event or Civics, you're free to post them as well. It's true we want them to be part of the dynamic narrative experience instead of players actively trying to trigger specific events, it's not like we can keep the conditions secret foreverever anyway. And we've heard the requests for more info on the triggers in game, but I don't if or when that would be addressed.
