Having a hard time making it past the armies of 200+ units on turn 10. I just ended up toning back the difficulty. 

Wondering if it's even possible?
Is anyone having any success with this setup?

Playing with everything else normal, so normal map, 6 civs.

I've done it 1v1 on Blitz, but I haven't had a good run in the few times I've tried larger games. Faster game speeds are always gonna be harder since the turn after you destroy the AI's army they'll already have made two more to take its place.

I only tried one proper game, and i thought i was doing good. Until i got message that the ai had entered the contemporary era at turn 38...
So yeah the only thing i can think of is playing with the French and rushing endgame techs while still in the industrial Era and winning a Science Victory. 

However honestly i would recommend just not playing on blitz speed or maybe even fast at least on this game. I have played both Endless Legend and Endless Space 2 on the faster speed and they seemed to work great. But this game because of the culture choosing mechanics and some other similar mechanics,  just kind of feels bad to play on the higher speeds.
