I am trying to left click and right click on this location, but nothing happens. What am i missing?

If your planes have been on patrol or have moved this turn, they will still show as available but will not be able to perform any other actions. I can see in the pane to the right that it shows 2/4, so probably only two of the planes in your squadron are able to perform actions. Try to deselect all and then pick them up one by one.

The interface can use some work but the animations and overall mechanics of the bombardment are great.
