So I've installed the Mac release from this past Friday and it seems that some features of the recent Fabius Maximus patch aren't included?

- District Stability Change

- Color Picker for Player and AI.

- Resource Abundance Option Working? I chose abundant on both and don't seem to have more resources, many are still 6 total on map?

Yet others such as changes to cultures seem to be implemented.  Khmer nerf, Roman Imperial Power, etc.  Random AI is in

Is that the consensus of others?

When you say "The Mac Release from this past Friday," are you referring to the default branch on Steam? If so, could you tell us what version number is displayed in the bottom right? To my knowledge, there should not be any differences between the PC and Mac versions, and if there is, then we need to check if there's something wrong with the download packages on Steam etc.

Good morning Cat

Yes, I am referring to the default branch - I had the beta installed and then opted out of that (as described in the Steam posting).  A new application immediately proceeded to download.

This is what the game shows at the main splash screen.

Thanks!

Okay, the version number matches what it should be, so something else must have gone wrong. I will talk to our producers.

EDIT: For clarity, since you mentioned the Stability changes in your original post, which system do you see in your game?

  1. -10 Stability per district, flat
  2. -5 Stability per district, flat; additional -5 Stability per adjacent district of the same type

#1 - flat -10 stability per district, unchanged from prior to Fabius Maximus

That is actually as intended. The second version, which was in the beta, was something we briefly tested, but we found that the benefits did not outweigh the undesirable side effects, and we reverted the change. We know some players like it, and it may return in a different form as part of further Stability changes at some point, but not by itself as it was in this patch.

Thank you for the information.

Oh, my mistake - I thought I saw it in various videos about the release, but I guess it must have been about the Beta.

What about the Color Picker? The Resource Abdundance - is that supposed to increase the total # of luxuries on a map (for a given map size) OR increase the quantity of each?

The color picker should be there, as far as I know. I've talked to our lead producer and he'll investigate.

On the resource abundance, I believe it increases the quantity of each, while the number of different resources is tied directly to map size, but I'd have to confirm that with our designers and programmers.

OK, so you know - I believe that typically certain luxuries have certain amounts.  For instance, Dye appears to 8 - I haven't noticed a difference with that # after setting Luxuries to Abdundant
