Event: Dia de los muertos.

1.- Is the participation to an event automatic for every new game or do you have to register them in some ways?

2.- In order to meet the Festival request in the first chapter, you must select the Mexicans in the Industrial age,  If the participation to the event is automatic, this means that you must play your game to have the first pick when the Industrial age becomes available.  If you have to register to the event in some way, are the Mexicans automaticaly selected for  you?

Is automatic, so you can just continue your current game or start a new one (if you planning to try to get the 300 population and you need to prepare some "agrarian base"). 

To the second question, yes, you can play the path you prefer and then select the Mexican :)

When starting a new game, with my profile connected to Games2gether (through the Extras), I understand that the participation to the event is automatic.

However, the selection of maps (in french: Cartes) is not available.

Is this controlled by the participation to the event or is it a bug?

The Maps/Cartes are available when starting a new game. You might want to check whether they are still in the Maps folder.
