I've been following off and on and waiting for a few patches before jumping back into the game. Somewhere in October I think it was announced that there would be a patch Oct 28th and then a follow up patch with additional balance changes the following week. I know the FM patch was delayed a bit but was the second patch rolled into it or are we still expecting something soon? I want to fire up a game but will wait a bit if something else is on the horizon.

Totaly agreed. Also waiting fo second part of patch to jump into the game. And it would be great to know when it will be on the way. At list plus or less)

I don't remember a following week claim. In fact I'm even willing to go as far as to say I know something like that was never said because no dev team ever promises a mere week turnaround on a patch.

Go read the October Update Content. That mentions the initial patch on October 28th and then details this for the follow-up:

"As we mentioned last week, we know that many players are looking for more control over the end conditions of the game, we’ve also been working on additional options to customize these. However, as we want to refine these options a bit more and make sure they are working well, we be releasing these in a follow-up patch to the update. Once this patch releases, likely in the first week of November, you will be able to enable and disable the end conditions of your choice, even allowing you to disable pollution or the turn timer for a pure “Last Player Standing” game."

October 28th being a Thursday and the 'first week of November' was the follow week so.....

Obviously the October 28th patch was delayed about a week which, if on schedule, would slate the follow on patch for this week, hence my question. If it's imminent, I'll wait till it hits. If it's still a week+ out, then I'll fire up a game. But yes, it was definitely mentioned on that timetable.

When do we get new content besides patches/updates? :) This year? Q1 2022? Q2...?
