Can you get achievements with mods activated? I destroyed the Great Pyramid thinking I would get the achievement in Steam, but didn't get it. I'm guessing it's because I was using mods, but I'm not certain.

Please, I got the achievement for capturing a wonder without capturing anything.

Yeah. I got achievements for winning on metropolis, nation, and humankind, even though at the time I had only advanced to playing at town difficulty. I only advanced to metropolis a few weeks later. No idea why it would glitch like that or whether the ptoblem resides with Steam or the game itself.

I think there is a dynamic AI option. Ai scales to how well you play. And if you play well enough the AI will scale up to humankind difficulty and if you win the game, you get the achievement for defeating a humankind difficulty. (I think that's one of the reasons why they may have included another achievement that requires you to defeat x humankind AIs.)

This detail should be made much more obvious when you enable mods. I was playing around with the official mod and trying to unlock a few achievements along the way because I had no idea that they were disabled.
