What intrigues me most is the Garamantes culture using the Foggara system. Interested to see how that works in gameplay...

Thanks for the DLC.

By the way, I noticed after the fact that Fanatical has the DLC on sale for $6.74.

I'm also interested to see new cultures in the game. For me, the benefit of Garamantes is the legacy trait of extra influence - a decent influence increase in early game. But I'm don't really like Bantu's trait of influence per neighboring empire as I usually start on new maps, so I won't have any neighbors early. And later on, I like to have natural looking borders, so most provinces won't be bordering more than 1 neighbor. I guess someone could create an octopus-looking empire to get the maximum benefit of this trait.

I also like doing naval runs and Swahili has a sweet legacy bonus of stability from harbors - since you can build tons of harbors (don't have to be attached to city), it's going to be very useful.

I also want to see how it changes the culture selection race - with more cultures, it means there's slightly less urgency to advance to the next era. (Though I do hope they fix the AI selection criteria - specifically, each AI needs to have a different criteria based on its unique game situation and persona instead of all choosing the exact same culture in the exact same order)

I think the Bantu will be a nightmare to play against, I can imagine Bantu players constantly forward settling you with their unique unit and then converting your territories, causing osmosis events and racking up demands. We will see how that goes, personally I am more hyped for the more peaceful options.

I do hope that with more cultures making their way into the game, we will get some way to limit amount of cultures one would be able to choose from. I would like to still have a race for cultures, rather than eventually ending up with simply deciding which flavour of same archetype I'll be picking.
