Today's event and mods

So with the Amplitude Days events upon us I am wondering if using mods means our efforts won't count toward unlocking rewards. I can see where some of the mods I use would be an issue, but cultures seem like they should be allowed. There are some really good ones that modders have made.

I was able to fulfill all necessary criteria for the last event while using mods so I assume the same will be true for this one. Mods prevent achievements and trophies associated with the G2G account but seem to still count for events.

Thanks. I think I'll go start a new game and fire up some mods.

If you want an easy add, try Uncle2fire's culture pack. He recently combined all of his cultures into one massive mod. I particularly like using the Numidians in the Classical era and follow them up with the Byzantines in the Medieval. The Numidians can build a horse breeder which actually gives you a source of horses, and, of course, the Byzantines then get gold for all those horses. You can also download his cultures seperately, or as part of regional groups.
