The DLC is a very good sign for the game's future.

First the devs are playing to the game's strengths, being how simple cultural implementation is, to add a bunch of new, lower-profile cultures at once.
Second, the pricing is very good.

I liked it as it adds depth. I look forward to more cultures, wonders and events. I wish natural wonders were unique as they should provide different benefits. But that's for another post.

I've added the Africa Culture pack. It's been installed on Steam since January 2022. I am at a loss trying to open and use the cultures. Does anybody have some help?

A weird suggestion but can you check in Extras -> Content Managment -> Add-ons and then checking if the Africa Culture pack is enabled?

Nothing there! I have 2 add-ons: pre-order and deluxe. No expansions or updates. It's listed as installed in Steam though. What do you think?

Checking 'Betas' section of game properties on Steam, verifying that you're using the latest live version of the game and also verifying game files might help.
