I noticed that the Allen Newell patch removed the turn limits from the Default, Last man standing, and space race win conditions.

Does anyone know why the turn limit was there in the first place?

I can confirm the patch also removed the Horatio Avatar/Persona for those who unlocked it, specifically me.

As you can still get the Red planet event, along with the option to end the game from that event, I'm of the opinion the Patch accidentally removed those things.

So I can say an update relating to the turn limits:

If you go into the end conditions menu, then click on [Default] in order to upon the end conditions menu, then click on [custom], the turn limits should show up as an option. I don't know what happened to cause it to bug out like that, but my guess it's due to the bug fix update that recently happened.

Also: I found where Horatio is, he's just hiding behind the mask of the Ancestor.
