It's so easy to squeeze a memorable battle out of HK, my absolute favourite was a landing that turned into full-blown industrial era clash, between my two full stacks plus two navies and four or five enemy armies plus some spare units. I don't know which ones are better, absolute curbstomps with barely any casualties on your side, or real nail-biters that aren't decided until very last round and there's barely any unit leaving the battlefield in the end.

The latter ones are definitely more heart-pounding and memorable in the end. My heart, however, can't handle this much pressure. Besides, I have an OCD about my units' health and lives. 'Leave no man behind' :)

Hah, I hear you, I tend to name all my armies and sometimes individual units as well, had some battles in which I retreated a wounded unit to preserve them just to lose two more because of that decision, Saving Private Ryan style. I wish we had a couple of Veterancy levels more, with all the extra experience you can get, if I go warring, most of my units sit on three stars before I even really started. Would be nice to have the veterans you kept alive have something to show for it.

We definitely need more options for veterancy; more levels to upgrade, special bonuses for war-seasoned heroes, etc. would spice-up warfare making it even more immersive and fun.
