I love this game, but war resolution is currently bizarre and nonintuitive. It's great that the result is "you can't always get everything you want" but the way you get there (the winning player is forced to accept a surrender) makes little sense and is a dissonant note in an otherwise very immersive 4x game.

The announced changes to war support and war resolution in the Bolivar update have me very excited. It's an ideal solution--allowing you as the executive to press on the war and achieve your goals, at the cost of support from your citizens. Immersion maintained! I can't wait to see how it plays out in-game.

When the game was launched, I enjoyed it but had several reservations. Those issues are slowly being resolved over time, and for me by far the largest remaining one is war resolution. The announced details in Bolivar have me very excited for Humankind moving forward!
