So near the end of my game before it ended I wanted to nuke a nation out of existence. They had 4 cities and I build a silo and nuke for each one. I did four nukes at once and the cinematic is amazing. It showed the trafectory for the 3 that were close and a cinematic played for each one in order. It was pretty cool. Especially when I got the nation eliminated notice. This games nukes are definitely better then civilizations. Just wish the games didn't end so fast lol I know you can continue but after the victory screen I just lose interest lol

The nukes are way overpowered. They must have missed the fact the Hiroshima and Nagasaki still exist and are not wasteland tiles. Many of the areas that were nuked in tests are pretty much fine now. A nuke should reduce city population by like 35%, do 100%-25% damage to units (based on distance from impact) and damage fortifications. In the real life explosions, people in the bank building made out of stone lived (right by ground zero) and in tests it doesn't even damage heavily armored vehicles that aren't directly under the explosion. It's a game, but still it should take like 4-5 nukes to erase a city, not 1. If the game goes by too quickly for you, I suggest you play on Endless, higher difficulty, and use a 14 era stars mod.

Yeah I do play on endless. I don't always use mods because they block achievements. I was trying to unlock the stubborn bias and before that get da vinci. So I couldn't use mods. Oh and I meant that 600 turns isn't enough. I feel 700-800 would be good. The AI difficulty doesn't increase the game length though. But I prefer nation cause I don't like the combat bonuses the ai gets. But the ai isn't bad on nation. As long as I don't destroy them right away they tend to keep up tell the end of the game.

As far as the not destroying Nagasaki and Hiroshima those were much smaller bombs compared to the one we have in this game. Personally I think we should be able to unlock atomic bombs and atomic bombers when we unlock uranium. Those would do what you suggest. Also I do agree on the wasteland , it should become a radiates tile instead and atomic bombs should cause food loss to represent the nuclear fallout that occurs in the aftermath. But personally I am fine with what is represented though.

I just read an opinion that is for nerfing nukes, and I just wanna say that I'm 100% against that--especially with how hard obtaining a powerful level 3 nuke currently is.

With that typed...

edit: Hit the post button a bit early there.

Yes, I definitely do agree on the point that Nukes are awesome and powerful to use in this game--especially because they can permanently delete more than half--if not entire regions.
