The game took it easy on you there.  I've had a few instances since OpenDev where it decided that circumnavigation was the optimal path to the tile next to me.


I'll agree that the pathing is awful.  Usually it's the safest to move one tile at a time.

Well, the pathing should not be that weird, are you sure you are not maintaining the right mouse button (I think that's the button to ask to access a tile *from* the last tile hovered), this may lead to weird things.


In any case don't hesitate to send us a save with a small explanation / screenshot, there is some weirdness around the rivers if I remember correctly, but nothing that drastic that we know of.

Hold on. Are you telling us movement in Humankind works as vector targeting in Endless Legend battles did?

I know how the pathing works in regards to hovering the right mouse button, otherwise it would be quite the hassle to even get such a screen shot in the first place, right?

When I come across pathings like this, I always compare and do that by hovering back over the starting hexagon.

The problem isn't always in front of the screen...the other responses in this thread and its rating should've given that indication already.
