Recently a player told me that he used my persona ingame. I never thought about it before, not thinking that anyone would use it but it promptly pushed me to wonder: how many have downloaded it? I thought, that the getting to know which personae are downloaded the most might help find some intersting one but then I realized that it would not bring me much, as many may have tried to fill their quota without caring to much about the personae.

So I came to wonder if it'd be possible to upvote personae the same way we can upvote topics on the forum. I'd be glad to get also the number of time it would have been upvoted.

It would not give the reasons why a persona is found great but the traits might help (while determining which combination works well is complicated alone). I know also that not many people upvote but it's better than nothing.

I'm basically curious about which persona you like to play against/with and would gladly read about it here, as I doubt I'd get my wish fulfilled.

I mostly try to throw ideas at the team, hoping to give some valuable ones among them. I do know that only a small part, if any, will end up ingame. I also know that many other players have even better ideas and that all of them make a lot to process and that a lot of work has to be done to implement many of those. Well, all of that to say that I'm a patient person and can wait and would also understand a refusal.

All that said, I really hope to get a proper „Ideas“ sub-section soon... (tutorials & questions sections would be welcomed too)

I hope your suggestion becomes reality. Also, I've been thinking (dangerous, I know), It would be nice to to have a pull-down menu in-game to search for specific traits like we can on this site. That would be a great QOL upgrade.

I found a bit of time to play yesterday and did try. And I failed. Not to beat you persona, but simply to put it into a game.

I have your persona in my collection and it did appear in the list.

However, impossible to find it among the other AI. I had, however, the chance to find the [Dev] Default AI Persona back. I've got 4 of them.

I tried reloading the connexion to G2G, deleted your avatar from my collection to put it back again. Quit the game and launched it again. No change.

For the multiple default personas, could you delete the folder ..Documents/Humankind ? Be aware that you will lost your save files, in case you wanted to do a copy. My educated guess is that you will need to reconnect again to G2G in the game.
Let´s see if that helps you on both problems (me not appearing and the multiple defaults personas)

So, I deleted everything Humankind related but I'm pretty sure it was not related to the issue.
I launched a new game (turn pending issue on the previous one).

I got the possibility to add the Daarkarrow persona as an opponent.

But:

1. I still have the [Dev] Default AI Persona
2. I now can't add another persona, from another player.

I don't know if there's a link but both times the persona I could not add was the last from the list.

I have been having the same issue. I was able to get rid of the AI Default personas a while ago. The personas I have downloaded appear at random. I am connected to GTG in-game. I uploaded my own persona, but sometimes my downloaded personas are there, and sometimes not. When they are not there, I try to download them and get an error message.

I am clearly logged in. I have a thread in the bug report area.

Yep, sorry I had to crush you early in may last game but that fame bonus is too dangerous to ignore...

Just to add that it would be great delete or somehow de-select, in-game, the personas you don't want to play against when you randomize the AI

I have. Multiple times. On the left, it shows I'm logged into GTG. There seems to be no rhyme or reason to the appearance/disappearance of the personas. Last Friday, I started the game, with no extra personas. I finished that game Saturday afternoon. When I started another game, the personas were there. By Sunday, they had again disappeared. AT no time did I disconnect from GTG. I'm gonna try changing my password and re-login after. I'll let you know if that works.

Changing passwords had no effect. Still get the same error message. If I get the personas to show again, I'll take another picture, and post date and time with it.
