Hello Amplitude and Humankind community,

Over a month ago, some people, me included, complained about the price hike of Humankind DLC in some specific regions. Here is the thread.

At the time, we were informed that it was an error and would be fixed.

However, here I am, as a latin american guy, still unable to buy and play the Latin American DLC, that were meant to honor my very region, because right now it costs a third of the amount I paid for the base game and almost 300% of the amount I paid for the African DLC.

Personally, I've been supporting Amplitude since Endless Legend and Humankind since the first OpenDev, and despite its issues at launch, have been positive about it and been enjoying my time with it. But, if this new price policy represents the future of the game, I'm seriously considering to drop it for the moment simply because I won't be able to follow the upcoming content, financially speaking.

That said, I can undestand why "third world" regions don't get the same attention as EU and USA and how piracy is a great issue as well, but I find it sad how some publishers prefer to tackle this raising their prices so high that virtually no one could afford their games in some countries, closing even more the doors to people that could be so passionate as a fan as anybody else in the world, or even more, depending of the culture and place.

Lastly, and representing not only my region (Brazil) but all people around the world affected by this issue, I'd like to humbly ask you all from SEGA and Amplitude to look at this with more heart and diligence, giving us a deadline for the problem to be solved or clarifying the situation regarding international pricing policy that will be adopted by the companies from now on.

Best regards.
