That sucks, you play with mods, your mod get an update and you can't continue your savegame, that sucks hard. Some Mods get updated every Day. I don't want to start always a new game after updated mods. You can play civ 6 with mods and can continue after mod updates. -.-

Dont enter the in-game mod browser and your mods wont update. After you finish your game you enter the modbrowser to update all mods.
