Assuming an Asian DLC is released, which cultures would you like to see in it?

I would like to see:

ANCIENT: Hebrews, because they aren't in any CIV game (which is weird, considering their historical role in religion).

CLASSIC: Han. It just makes sense. IMO they should have been included in the base game due to their huge historical significance.

MEDIEVAL: Seljuk. Although it might be hard to not make their horse archers too similar to the Mongols. The Sukhothai could be an interesting one too, but again, it might be hard to make it different enough in-game to the Khmer.

EARLY MODERN: Ganden Phodrang would be fun, but I reckon you can't sell the DLC in China if you include them. I guess the Tumed could be an alternative. But it's hard to come up with a good one for this era, since it's the one with the most Asian cultures included in the base game.

INDUSTRIAL: Meiji Japan seems like the obvious choice. Of course it has a weird aspect to it, because technically it reaches the loser side of WW2, which no one wants to add as playable in a game. But if the EQ and EU strongly point to the succesful 19th century part of this culture (up until the 1905 victory over Russia), I think it's doable.

CONTEMPORARY: South Korea. A relevant contemporary country with an important international influence, it would be a logical choice IMO.

Which ones do you think I'm missing? Do you have any good ideas for the early modern that aren't already in the game?

Elam for Ancient, Nepal and Oman for Early Modern, Tibet and Chola for Medieval, Emirates for Contemporary… and there are so many others: Afghanistan, Majapahit, Guptas, Tamils, Rajputs, Bengalis, Malay, Sassanians, Parthians, Palestine, etc.

I think Asia is too big of a scope, actually. I‘d prefer if it would be split up in three packs: Middle East, South East Asian, East Asian. Although I think East Asian is much better represented than the other two (save antiquity), so it should take a lower priority.

Oman for the early modern sounds interesting as a merchant culture, I like that idea.

You can already have 2 (and it happened to me to end up Edo against the Japanese).
What about China and Zhou, Han, Ming, Chinese then?
They are different from each other and that's good enough for me.

Maybe add an option to avoid colliding cultures at some point?

I'm feeling like Singapore is going to be enough to sate my need to play Malaysia, but I'd absolutely love for them to add a Hebrew cultue, Palestinians, and Oman.

If a player did want to play only the one real-world country, say China, in some shape or form for literally every stage, I don't see why that's even an issue, it just means they'd prefer the other bonuses, and benefitting from the variety, instead of the fame bonus they'd take instead with transcending.

Scratch that, I want Malay even more now, I'm emboldened by Singapore existing.

I'd like to see an Era VI or V China or India (maybe the Qing or the Maratha) who are Agrarian and capable of creating empires with enormous populations like their real world counterparts.  Currently, "massive population empires" in late game seems to be a Mexican-Brazilian thing, though you can do it with any strong agricultural foundation, and it seems odd that India and China don't naturally make for enormous cities.

Additionally, historic Indonesia could make an appearance with the Srivijaya (Era III?) or the Majapahit (Era IV?)

I will pick Taiping Heavenly Kingdom for INDUSTRIAL.

Here IS WHY

1.IT IS "the view of the people's history"
Although Taiping is a REBELLION against Manchu Empire, it is considered one of the important source of modern China. In PRC, the people's uprising is considered an orthodox dynasty and has high legitimacy. This is called "the view of the people's history".

2.IT IS FUN
Taiping is both religious regime. the Leader Hong is a self-proclaimed younger brother of Jesus Christ and convert to Protestant. I think this is very similar to Teología de la liberación. Some leaders of the Taiping Heavenly Kingdom have begun to seek truth from the West, explore China's independence and prosperity, and bravely take off the tasks of anti -feudal and anti -aggression. The Taiping Heavenly Kingdom Movement is the peak of the Chinese farmers' war.

I would like the Meiji Jopan too, also south Korea because they are totally different than Joseon, and if Meiji Japan cannot be added, an alternative can be North Korea since in a time they were growing up till the fall of the Soviet Union.

Another interesting can be Thailand, and Why not Philippines and Indonesia.
