Suggestion/Proposal :

I'd really like to be able to switch from french to english for instance (and vice versa), directly in game, without having to close and restart the game to switch to another localisation.

Justification/Rational :

The current process is pretty tedious : you have to open the game's menu, go to settings, open UI, choose the localisation you want, mouse click the window telling you to close the game to be able to switch localisations, close the game, and finally restart to get your game in the desired localisation.

Thus, it is particularly tedious when seeing a localisation bug/typo, and wanting to check if it is only applicable to the current language, or making sure it is also applicable to other localisations.

Personally, I'm mainly playing in french, anytime I see a localisation bug/typo in french, I'll switch to english to see if it applies or not. I then have to switch back to french, repeating the whole process.

On the upside of this suggestion, I can think of another useful case : you're playing in your language, and want to share screenshots and/or explain a particular feature to someone (who's speaking english for instance) on Discord/Reddit/Games2Gether or whatever platform, being able to switch in game to english would swiftly ease the process.

Notes :

I'm not sufficiently knowledgeable on how the game's engine works for setting up localisations, though I've noticed that this parameter is stored in a Registry.xml file (on PC under C:\Users\[username]\Documents\Humankind\Users\[user]), which can be edited to start the game in the desired language/localisation.

It does help a bit to avoid using the game's menu to change the localisation, though, it does not prevent from closing and restarting the game.

Hope this is something feasible at some point, since I feel localisations bug/typo will continue to be reported, as more content is added to the game and potentially more languages will be supported.
