1.IT IS "the view of the people's history"

Although Taiping is a REBELLION against Manchu Empire, it is considered one of the important source of modern China. In PRC, the people's uprising is considered an orthodox dynasty and has high legitimacy. This is called "the view of the people's history".

2.IT IS FUN

Taiping is religious regime. the Leader Hong is a self-proclaimed younger brother of Jesus Christ and convert to Protestant. I think this is very similar to Teología de la liberación. Some leaders of the Taiping Heavenly Kingdom have begun to seek truth from the West, explore China's independence and prosperity, and bravely take off the tasks of anti -feudal and anti -aggression. The Taiping Heavenly Kingdom Movement is the peak of the Chinese farmers' war.
