Not really an important topic but I'm curious to understand the logic behind it.

When I create a thread, such as this one, it starts with an automatic upvote and all my G2G points are added.

When I create an Idea, it starts with only 100 points:

But other members seem to start with 0:

I'd like to understand why it works that way and how it indeed works.
I'd have more chance to get my ideas in the game if someone with little point posted them, so I could give it more weight...
I'd really like to get my G2G points involved (it's 5% of the required amount!)
