The same build is in both the live and beta versions. Oddly, though, some people on the Steam forums say they get different bugs with both, which shouldn't happen with the same builds.
I am using the update preview beta. v1.0.19.3556-S10 build 265944
Should I still be using this or have these changes been made live to the non-beta version?

Once the patch is live I will recommend to use back the base game instead of the Beta one. Perhaps in not that long we will have another update to the beta.
