any news on a new update? It's been really quiet the past months, and I am still looking forward to that revamped Maritime Gameplay! :D

In fact we have released an update a month and a half ago, and the next one might come soon and we hope it should be quite nice ^^ So stay tune ^^

And be assured that the maritime gameplay is on its way, the team is working on its different aspects at the exact moment I'm writing to you.

I loved the roadmaps. I understand they can be just forecasts but it gives us an idea of what the development team is thinking about. I'm personally more interested in the roadmap and release notes each time than the actual game. I like the what's next feeling of anticipation ?

Yes, roadmaps give us an horizon and excitement for the future. This "silence" feels a bit disturbing especially after the poorly received first expansion. I love this game, but if there's no activity for the future, I can't support it!

I am hoping/expecting some blog on Wednesday or next Wednesday, that's usually the dates they post blogs. It is already confirmed on the forum that the next update has nice QOL updates like enhanced autoresolve. I am carving forward to some news. 

So, when does the new update coming out?

I completly understand it. We will preparing a blog with a teasing of the content of the next patch (but if you go to the Ideas section you will be able to see some of the new things that will arrive). But we keep working on the Maritime Gamplay.

Thank you for the response, I appreciate it. I am happy to hear more blogs and a tease are coming! Waiting is fine for a game you love as long as there is regular communication! But I do hope there will also be a new roadmap for 2023 soon.

I know game development cannot be pinned down to a hard deadline, but most of what was promised in the last roadmap dating Aug 2022 came with Together We Rule in November. Except for Maritime Gameplay. If I read your message correctly Maritime Gameplay won't be in the next patch. Which leaves me guessing... I'll take the positive approach and assume it is going to be bigger and better than expected :P

As someone for whom the first expansion unfortunately was of no interest, I am very curious for what is next on your list of topics. I hope for Trade & Economy, with Pollution or any other mechanic that will make the final two Era's more engaging a second choice.

The wonders have been nice. Maybe we get more packs or a religion rework!
