I am playing on Nationhood with the FIMS bonuses disabled mod + a few other mods. I have a big science and military lead and the largest empire. But, the Blue team controls 27 of my territories culturally. This means that I cannot go to war to stop their raiding because I would lose 27 war support per turn. I can't gain enough cities and victories fast enough to overcome that advantage. How do I prevent cultural takeover in future games?
Some civics, like Isolationism, can be useful, but in the long run, I think it's better to invest in influence and religion, and look at existing trade routes, they usually operate as an entry of foreign influence into countries
