Not sure if this is intended by the devs, but at the moment the trade routes are fixed, this leads to the situation shown in the image below where there are two viable paths from Tyre (top left) to my capital Byblos (right). One through the sea and the other through my claimed territory.

I feel like I should be able to reroute them to the available paths instead of them being forced to go through the opponents city. In fact I would prefer if I could always choose which path they take so I can decide between a longer, but safer path at all times even if it might cost some gold / turn.



Another weird behaviour is that now my city of Tyre is no longer using the copper it is mining within its city walls, just because they can't deliver it to the capital. I feel like every city should individually check if it can access a certain resource or if this would have too much of an impact on performance, cities should at least keep using the resources within their own territories if possible.
