The idea of bringing in cultures according to historic periods is for me one of the greatest additions to this kind of strategy game!

But...can't there be the choice between:
- Choose a new civilization/culture
- Stay with the civilization you previously have chosen

The problem with Civilization is that it doesn't felt natural beginning with England or France or Khmer. But what if you start with Egyptians and can't hold on to them, what if you have to choose another civilization later on? Does that change the name of your culture too? Will you still have the feeling you are playing with Egyptians? What if you can hold on to a civilization with some other kind of bonuses through the ages (whenever they come available?).

I think this would give the best historic feeling!

Your wish is granted. You can opt to keep your current civ in the next Age for additional Fame bonuses (but no new uniques).
