In Endless Legend, according to technology descriptions , the game starts in a fantacy world with swords and magic, and end up with a steampunk world with mass media, differential machine, and production line. However, as time changes, the appearances of my cities never changed; it is so boring that I can not see what's actually happening in my cities and how my people's life becomes better.

  I hope it won't happen in humankind.

Well, if you go to the home page and compare the screenshot with Memphis to the picture with the ship you can see that the buildings look different. So wish granted I guess.
