QoL: Indicate Next-Best-Thing Outpost Location Recommendation

Hi,

This is my first post to a Humankind forum.

I would like to present my biggest QoL Improvement Suggestion:

Currently, when I want to claim a territory that doesn't have any recommended tiles,

I find myself going over all of the possible tile yields and calculating my idea of the best outpost location in this territory.
Needless to say, this is tedious and complicated.

My suggestion is: let there be two kinds of highlighted territory claim locations.

One for best outpost locations and another for best locations amongst the given territory available tiles.
The ideal IMO would be green for best and yellow for best amongst (and maybe white for all possible).

But since white is already taken, maybe go with white for best and yellow or red for best amongst.
(It might need a tooltip to explain the colors)

BTW: I also have another idea (to-be-posted)

that district placement recommendations should also be color-coded:
One color for best placement. Another color for best placement amongst the empty tiles (without overriding an existing district).

And one color (probably white) for all possible tiles.

So, the same color codes could be applied there too for a coherent user experience.

Welcome to the forum, vensa, and welcome also to posting QoL for district predictions too! :D

I've been thinking of gold and silver (and potentially bronze) outlines for district recommendations for a little while now and like some of these you've got here too that dovetail nicely into "best", "next best", etc.  Thanks for sharing!

Hey there,

I'd also like to have any form of indication of the best tiles within the current region, so you get my vote :)
