I write these, three ages into Together We Rule, and I like all the new that has happened in my game. But there are remarks to be made. So let me tell you about my neighbor King Gilgamesh!

Beginning the Late Antics King Beowulf of the Romans - a mighty Empire far of in the West of a still desolate Continent - sought War with my Friend Gilgamesh of Greece who lives at my border. Despite the long hardship journey to our side of the Continent, the Legions of King Beowulf sieged Assur - a city of three provinces - the only City of Greece.

My offer of allegiance came too late, perhaps, because Gilgamesh furiously ripped the offer in pieces and signed a treaty to become Vassall to Rome. Rome in the same breath declared war on ME, King of the Maurya, and my ally Queen Aosher of the Celts honored our bond and joined into the fight.

And so came about the great second and third Battle of Assur, with Queen Aosher effortlessly marching into Assur (which should have made me suspicious) and defending its walls against 4 Roman Legions. History notes the help of all of the Maurya might consisting of two Elephant Archers and two Sumer Spearman. King Gilgamesh was not to be seen, perhaps Aosher hid him from me, but he officially stated still being loyal Vassall to Beowulf?!

Long story short and a few of my and Rome's mutually annihilated armies later, Queen Aosher (out of no circumstances coming to my attention) capitulated to Rome and Assur was sieged by me. And what a siege it was, cause my elephants just walked through the open gate and found - NO ONE! THE WHOLE CITY WAS A GHOST TOWN, with none population whatsoever!

I found King Gigamesh in his Palace, obviously surrounded by Ghost servants, and with mad eyes, he not only still insists on ruling a healthy empire but being a loyal Vassall to mighty Rome - not even hearing my well-intentioned assurances that I freed his Empire.

I won the War. Out of Political turmoil at home Beowulf ceded weapons to me sparing even more legions to be crushed by my Elephants (unnecessary bragging).

In his capitulation, he ceded the City of Assur to me, obviously not ever considering it might be freed. And pulled me over.

BECAUSE only the Ghost Province of Assur became Maurya, leaving two Ghost Provinces under the Rome-loyal rule of King Gilgamesh, who must have sneaked out of the Palace with his Ghost servants who build him a Palace in the now so-called might less Sparta with no people still.

And this concludes the Tale of Ghost Kingdom because I spent Assur TWO new provinces with a total of 7 populis raising - there might be some migration - the population to ROUSING 2.
