Hey all,

First time posting a thread here.  I had some thoughts about envoys and their utilization as it relates to the embassy.

With the embassy, as I understand it, you get +10 influence per adjacent district, which definitely generates a lot of additional culture per turn.  What if that was somehow tied to the number of Envoys one has in the field, spreading one's culture as they travel.  It might be a good way to make sure envoys are well utilized.

Also, I do notice that setting envoys to auto-explore is ultimately a death sentence, as they'll almost certainly run into hidden spies or prowlers.  Even though they're not aggressive units, they'll still be caught in an ambush - I've even had this happen with a country I was the liege of.  When it happens, it's almost certainly a so long to your cultural ambassador.

What if there was a way to pair prowlers/partisans with envoys, to serve as bodyguards essentially. I've tried creating an army made up of an envoy and a prowler/partisan, but they don't seem to behave in the same ways as a lone envoy would during auto.  I can control them myself, but often it's not top of mind when I have other things going on, and beiong able to let them just explore and seek out leverage/etc. is desirable.

Just my $.02 that could enhance the utilization of both.
