Ancient Era

The ancient era is the least lacking in terms of Middle eastern cultures, with Egyptians, Phoenicians, Babylonians, Assyrians and Hittites, half of the base game Ancient era cultures are ME, also Sumer added in TWR. its a bit hard to take a pick for the Ancient era, what comes to my mind first would be the Akkadians, but that would be another Militarist/Expansionist culture.

I would love to have your input on this

Classical Era - Arabs

I chose Arabs as an umbrella term for all Nomadic Arabian tribes that resided in the the Arabian Peninsula, just like how the "Celts" or the "Goths" were used as an Umbrella term for these peoples.

Medieval Era - Seljuks?

Im still not sure about this one, but im thinking about a pre-Ottoman representation for the turkic cultures in the middle east who had great influence on the region even before the establishment of the Ottoman empire as a great power.

Early Modern Era - Morrocans

although it would be a stretch to consider Morocco as a middle eastern country Geographically, i feel its fitting from a cultural perspective, one other reason i wanted Morrocans is because i think thats a fitting Diplomatic culture. TBH im not sure how to handle if someone bought this pack but didn't have TWR, yet at the same time i dont like the idea of only having 6 Diplomatic cultures with no chance of having more.

Contemporary Era - Afghans

The reason i wanted to go with Afghans is because i think the contemporary era is lacking a Militarist culture and i think the Afghans would be a good candidate for that.
Some people say that Amplitude didn't want a contemporary militarist culture because it may be offensive to some people, but after playing the game its clear that sometimes Militarist cultures excel in self-defense and are not meant to be an offensive force.

>Affinity: Militarist
