Unfortunately, the only good game to compare to is the Civilization franchise. In their start menu, they use check boxes to denote win conditions and allow you to eliminate the various victory conditions: Time limit, Conquest, ... etc. I believe that it would make the game more inviting to more people, myself included, if we could option for each win condition instead of the preset win condition types. I've seen in many places people are turned away by the inability to get rid of the time limit.

I personally enjoy the focus on what is essentially score. If I'm understanding the conditions properly.

For me, I've never finished a game of Civ because I just get to a point where I realize the win condition I'm going for, be it science, military culture whatever, is out of grasp, I didn't min/max enough or whatever. In HK however it doesn't feel as set in stone, I don't feel like I need to wipe everyone off the planet before turn 500, I just need to do good. I don't need to minmax my science and ONLY my science, I just need to get high science, and lots of settlers or whatever. 

Unless I'm really misunderstanding how victory works in HK, that helped me because when I did first get into the lucy beta that really confused me, thinking it was ONLY a points game. I am only about 3 hours in HK so I can't speak for how this system actually works.

i would like to disable the max rounds limiter, im now in round 460+ from 600 and just hit the last epoch.

Just because you enjoy it the way it is, does not mean that the option to remove it would not be nice for other players.

I especially want the option to change the turn limit, 300 is way too short in normal pacing. I was only contemplary civ and it was only 1800 when game ended. Please give me option to change turn limit, 400 might be better for me.
