I am getting a frequently recurring bug where the graphics completely freeze whilst the game appears to continue running. I can still move the cursor, and when i mouse over buttons, select units, issue commands, etc. it sounds as if the game is running perfectly fine in the background. But i can;t actually tell because the screen is completely frozen.

This issue persists in both windowed and fullscreen mode, alt-tabbing out and back in doesn't appear to fix the issue, and happens at seemingly random intervals regardless of whether i've alt-tabbed out of the game or not. Sometimes i can go 3-5 turns without this happening and other times it will happen moments after loading into a save game (or creating a new one). So far i have been unable to consistently replicate the issue, insofar as it happens increadibly frequently, but with no clear trigger.
It also appears to have no link toi graphical settings.

As stated above, i've tried both reloading from autosaves and creating a fresh new game but the problem persists. often appearing within the first few turns. But i've literally had to force close and restart the game dozens of times within the first 25 turns.

All other graphical features run buttery smooth, even on the highest setting.
