Cursor drifts to the top left corner of the screen. I only have my mouse plugged in. Ive tried restarting, unplugging the mouse plugging it back in. It is unplayable.

Hi there!

Do you have any other controllers attached? Be it 360, racing wheel/pedals, or what have you? If so, could you try unplugging those to see if that helps?

Yes, i Had the same issue. Unplagged a Saitek X52 and rudder pedals and Alt+Tabbed back into game and issue was gone.

I have the same issue, but no additional controllers plugged in. Any other potential contributors to the cursor drift?

I have a similar issue: the game is constantly reading an up+left input, though the cursor does not drift. However, the cursor does become tiny whenever I move it, and when on the Gamepad Settings menu the mappings change when I move the mouse.

I do not have a controller plugged in, though I did at one point. I restarted the game after unplugging it without change, then restarted the computer without change, the reinstalled the game without change.

Edit: I will add that this did not happen in any of the previous OpenDevs, and my setup has not changed as far as I am aware of.

I have the same mouse cursor drift to the left top corner. I have no additional controllers plugged in. Several restarts did not help with the problem. Already hat the same issue during Lucy Open Dev. Hope for a solution so I can try this game.

SOLVED - EDIT: I did solve the problem by deleting the software of a 3D mouse (3Dconnexion) which I had plugged years ago (mouse was not plugged in when I had the issue). Somehow, this fixes the cursor drift.

I have the exact same problem. Did you find a solution?

I'm having the same problem, but I'm sorry I'm not going to unplug other devices every time I want to play.  People with more than just basic sim setups (I have 4 other button box/HOTAS/wheel/pedal things plugged in at any given time) should be able to play the game without crawling under their desk and unplugging things.

Nope, not yet. Honestly might try navigating to the game purely through the keyboard with the Mouse unplugged from startup just to see if it helps lol

Same problem.  Constant drift to top-left corner despite unplugging/re-plugging input devices.  Drift is also accompanied by several other mouse cursors appearing.  Can not select anything.  Unplayable.

Only inputs I have plugged in are keyboard and mouse, and I have tried multiple times to unplug, re-plug, move to different ports, etc.

I am glad some users have reported their problem solved by unplugging peripherals, but that is clearly not the only issue.

happens to me too. Unplugging the controller works for me. But reconnecting it recreates the problem

I just got the drift to stop by plugging in a controller but not using it.

Hi everyone. I am new to the game. After the preorder and download of Victor I was excited to start playing. Then came the problem. As soon as the game is loaded in there is a constant moving of the map to the right. If I go into the settings to calibrate keyboard and mouse, the menu auto scrolls to the bottom and it is almost impossible to scroll it back up. On the civilizations menu the different civs scroll constantly left to right. I have unplugged my game pad, my joystick, my VR headset, everything, and it is still doing this. The game is unplayable. Does anyone have a fix please.

Same issue here, cannot even navigate through the menu. Definitely do not want to unplug every single controller (steering wheel, pedals, shifter) every time I decide to play - this has never been a problem in any other software so far.

Was super excited to try this, now not so much. Please fix it, cannot be too difficult, right?

Yep, having the same issue. no controllers plugged in, no virtual mouse software, just constant drift towards the top left of the screen.

I had the same issue and like many people, I had to unplug something to be able to play.
It was a very old Micorosoft Sidewinder Precision Pro joystick. For information, my playstation 3 gamepad and a 2nd mouse are still plugged without causing any issue.

I have the same issue, as far as I know I do not have any other periferals plugged in, all I have are:
Keyboard (wireless)

Mouse (wireless)

Headset (usb)

Microphone (usb)

I tried unplugging all my peripherals, none helped.

I have also tried not using bluetooth for both my mouse and my keyboard, but neither seem to fix that either.

Plugging in a random controller doesn't seem to fix it either :(
